Union Bridge Fire Hall

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

M.I. Tech Construction was contracted to upgrade the outdated laundry facilities and restrooms of the Union Bridge Fire Company. The project required extensive demolition, plumbing retrofits, concrete floor removal and replacement, electrical upgrades and HVAC branch lines to accommodate a commercial gear extractor and dryer cabinet, and the conversion of two multi-purpose restrooms to three single-use bathrooms with showers. The plumbing was rerouted above grade and a supply manifold system was installed to isolate and identify lines. New, dedicated electrical circuits with local disconnect safety switches were added to serve the utility room laundry equipment. Existing electric was modified to serve new restrooms and new fixtures were installed throughout. The job was finished with a custom ceiling grid, acoustic ceiling tiles, stone shower tiles and paint.
