The Columbia Association of Columbia, Maryland contracted M.I. Tech Construction to renovate their space for indoor cycling/spinning while repurposing the basement for weight training and multi-use functionality. The 2-phase project required careful planning, scheduling and safety measures in order to keep the facility operational during construction. A third-floor room was enlarged by moving walls. Custom rubber flooring and Airius fans were installed. Basement walls were reinforced for weight racks and a “tribe room” was formed with new windows. The project was finished with paint and trim.
